Radically Reimagining the Human Relationship with Nature
“Anthropocentric property is a key driver of biodiversity loss, a silent killer of species worldwide.”
– Karen Bradshaw, Wildlife as Property Owners
A three-channel video projection installation visualizing three iconic Sonoran Desert apex predators – jaguar, mountain lion, and Mexican wolf. A visual invitation to these and all other species who may move through the yard of Karen Bradshaw, the first property legally co-owned by wildlife in the United States.
Prey, a one-night garage installation prepared for Radically Reimagining the Human Relationship with Nature. The project is supported by Karen Bradshaw and funded by the Desert Humanities Initiative at Arizona State University.
